Science Inquiry

Third and Fourth graders, you have been studying Life Cycles in Science.  Throughout the unit, you have asked amazing questions that show your curiosity and desire to learn more.  We are constantly going through our 7-step "Doing Science" process:  Ask a Question, Make a Prediction, Make a Plan, Collect Data (charts, tables, drawings etc.), Make a Claim based on observations and Draw Conclusions.

What about the 7th step???  It is Reflecting and Asking New Questions.  This is your opportunity to ask a new question based on your learning.  The only limitations are that the questions must be related to Life Cycles, and it needs to be a question that we can answer considering the resources that we have available to use.

So, WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION?  We will be spending time in the next couple of weeks researching them or designing experiments and, who knows... maybe you will come upon even more questions to ask!
