Fourmilefire

I have learned that the Fourmile Fire is named after how tall Boulder is. I also learned that the Fourmile Fire lasted more than one day.

How did the fire start? I heard two different things about how the fire started. One was a fire blew out of a firepit and a car ran in to a gas tank.
I want to know how the fire ended. Did it die of weakness or did the firefighters stop it.

  1. During the process of resrching the fourmile fire I've learned that over 915 fire fighters volunteered to help put out the fire. I also learned that there were two other fires that were just about as big in the years 2000 and 1990. I wonder, how many days did it take to put out the fire? And were all the fire fighters needed?
