How big can a tarantula get?

A Goliath Bird Eater can get up to 30 centimeters.

    Is that the biggest one? How many inches is 30 cm? Does the Bird Eater really eat birds? If so, what kind and how does it catch the birds?

    yes dad a Goliath Birdeating Tarantula is the biggest kind.

    Ewww! That reminds me of the bird-eating tarantula that can grow to the size of a dinner plate. Poor Tweety.
