I want to know what the eight colors are! Do they change color just to camouflage or do they change for other reasons? I used to have anoles in my old classroom and they change color as well, but they could only be green or brown. They would turn brown if they were "stressed". The males also had a red dewlap that hung down on their necks when they were trying to look threatening or to look cool to a girl anole. Is this the same for a chameleon?
