I have learned that it is not called the for mile fire because it is four miles. It is actually in the four mile canyon,and that 1,000 or more has drove away in a car. I am still wondering if the fire is still going on. And if any one got heart.

I have two questions about the Fourmile Fire...why would somebody cause a fire on purpose?And did a lot of people die?I have also learned some things to,only ten houses survived the fire.And what caused the fire. Somebody was burning trash because he was a volunteer fireman and the timbers started spreding.

I learned that a 71 year old criminal might have started the fire. And the fire spread I think six miles. How long did the fire last? How many people got hurt?
