I love that experiment.I hope it turns out ok. How are you going to get the sent on the toothpick? What sent are you going to put on the tooth pick?Are you going to put the tooth pick inside the cage or take Hades out of the cage?
I think that the experiment will turn out o.k. I am going to get the scent on the toothpick by getting it's prey and rubbing it's smell on the q-tip. I am going to put the toothpick in the cage, but maybe I will take out Hades because it would be nice to hold Hades for the first time. -IB

I think your experiment should be sticking a cricket on a tooth-pick and see if Hades still eats it.
