Why, if you were to touch a butterfly's wings, could it die?

If you were to touch a butterflies wings it would die because the roughness on your finger can tare the wing and then it can't fly to get food so it dies of hunger and pain.

  1. Do all butterflies die if you touch them or can they survive if the wing is not broken?

  3. Even if you have a soft hand it could die because you have little bumps on your finger and that could ragged the wing and that cold kill it.
