My favorite scene in The Lightning Thief is when Percy, Grover, and Percy's mom are being chased by a Manitore {half man half bull} at night. There's a all black hurricane following them and then. . .BOOM lightning strikes the roof of the car and they fall in a mud puddle. The chapter is called my mother teaches me bullfighting because Percy ends up on the Manitore's back and he rips off its horn and the Manitore died.
