first,we multiplied 1,000,000 times 12in=12,000,000 next we did 12,000,000 divided by 12=1,000,000 then,1,000,000 divided 5280= 189 miles and i wanted to go to Utah near the Colorado river because last time i went there it was wonderful.

In one million steps I could travel approximatley 96 miles. I did my stride,17 inches and multiplied 1,000,000 times 17 eaqualed 17,000,000 inches.Then I did 17,000,000 divided by 12 equaled 1,250,000 feet.I would end up on the edge of Lubock in Texas according to my steps its 96 miles from Denver.

if you could waik 1,000,000 steps you could go to Utah near the Colorado river thats also 189 miles thats also 83,333 ft. take a map scale and see where you can go.

if you could walk 1,000,000 steps you could end up in south dokota rapid city I would walk 23,000,000 inches and devied it by 12 that eqwels 1,916,666,667 feet that devited by 5280 eqwels 363,0050506.

I had 27,000,000/12=22,500,000/5280=479.
ReplyDeleteI would end up on the edge of the Brazos river. I would end up there because according to my stride it is 479miles from denver.

In a million steps I would go to Santa Fe.

Next I did 17,000,000 inches/12=1,416,666.667 feet.
Next I divided 1,416,666.667 feet/5280=287 miles
I would go to Santa Fe because I have never been there.

If I walked 1,000,000 steps I could go to Lincon Nebraska.I found that out by taking my stride and I got 31 inches.Next I multaplied that by 10, 100, 1,000 ect.Next I got 31,000,000 then I divided that by 12.Then I divided that by 5,280 then I got 489 mi.I would go to Lincon Nabraska because I realy want to go there and I could see my cousin Andrew.

ReplyDeleteIn one millon miles i could travel 284 steps i mesured my step and got 18in and added 6 zeros and got 18,000,000in and i would travel 1,500,000 feet.I would travel to santa fe new mexico .I would want to go there because I herd it was beautiful.

Every step I take is 17 in. so if I walked 1000000 steps 17000000 in every mile is 5280 ft. There are 63630 in. in every mile 17000000/63630=286 miles. How I mesured the disdnce is by useing the scale.

Fist I did 20,000,000in./12in. and got 1,666,666.6ft. Then to translate 1,666,666.6ft. to miles I did 1,666,666.6/5,280 and got 315.6 miles. That is how I translated from inches to feet to miles. I would go to Dallas in a million steps because I would like to go fishing in the Trinity River.

I just added zeroes to 22 because I know one times 22 eqeals 22 so I just added 1 to 6 zeroes. Next I did 22,000,000 divided by 22 divided by 12=1,833,333 feet. Then divided 1833333 5280 and got 347 miles I would go to Sheirdan because that is my cousins name. So thats why I would go to Sherdan.

First I did 28 inches x 1,000,000 inches = 28,000,000 inches. Then I did 28,000,000 inches / 12 = 2333333 feet. Next I did 2333333 feet / 5,280 = 441 miles. I would go to Amarillo in Texas because I did 441 / 56 and it equalled 7 and 1/2 inches. I went from Denver to Amarillo. I want to go there because I have never been ther and it might be interesting.

In one million steps I could travel approximately one hundred eighty nine miles. This is how I used extended facts to figure out how far I would travel. First I did twelve times one and it equaled twelve. Then I did twelve times a million and it equaled twelve million. From twelve million inches from twelve million divided by twelve equals one million feet. Then I did one million divided by fifty two eighty and it equaled one hundred eighty nine miles. Where I am going is Laramie, Wyoming. Why I picked Laramie is because it sounds like a nice place.

If I would walk a million steps I would walk 489 miles. I figured out my steps that I take were about 31 inches so I took a calculator and I typed 31,000,000 / 12 and I got 2,583,333. That divided by 5,280 and I got 489. I would want to go to New Mexico because I have never been there and I'm going to Mexico this summer.

In one-million steps I could travel approximenely 189 miles. How I used extended facts to figure out how far I would travel by doing 1,000,000 times 12 = 12,000,000 in. and then I devided 12,000,000 by 12 and that = 1,000,000 ft. After that I did 1,000,000 divided by 5,280 = 189 miles. IF I were to walk a million steps, I would go to Casper in Wyoming because it's 189 miles away and because I would really like to go there.

if i could walk a million steps i would go to Utah. first i measured my stride and got 19. THen multiplyed it by a million and came up with 19,000,000. then I devided it by 12 and came up with 1533333 then devided that by 5280 and came up with 300. I would go to utah because i love the plateas.

In one million steps I would traval 479 miles. How I figured that out was I took my stride which is 27 inches x 1,000,000 equals 27,000,000 inches divided by 12 equals 2,250,000 feet divided by 5,280 equals 479 miles. I would go to Wichita Falls because I have never been there, and I love waterfalls.

I measured 1 step 21 feet then I did 21x1,000,000= 21,000,000 I / by 12= 1,750,000.Then I / by 5,280 and I got 331 miles.

In one-million steps I traveled four hundred forty one miles.My stride is twenty eight.I multiplied that by one-million.I did twenty eight million divided it by twelve and got two million then I did three hundred thirty three thousand three hundred thirty three divided by five thousand two hundred eighty and got four hundred forty one miles .If I were to walk one-million steps I would get to st.George Utah.Then I would walk another hundred miles and get to Las Vegas.

In one million steps I could travel approximately 394 miles. This is how I used extended facts to figure out how far I would travel: What I did was I did 25,000,000 divided by 12 = 2,083,333. 2,083,333 divided by 5,280 equals 394. 394 was my final answer. If I were to walk 1,000,000 steps, this is where I would go and why: If I were to walk a million steps I would go to Sheridan, Wyoming because my friend said her cousins live there and she said it was beautiful.

If I could walk a million steps I would go to Topeka. I would want to investigate what it is like there .To find out how I took 30,000,000 and divided it by 12 and got 2,500,000 then I divided 2,500,000 by 5,280 and got 473 miles.
